It’s that time of year again, festive get-togethers, family visits, and holiday decorating!
Here are a few tips to keep your family and home safe during the holiday season:
1. Be careful when selecting a tree. Real or fake, they both can be prone to catching fire. Ensure your real tree is consistently watered and make sure your fake tree is fire retardant.
2. If you like the ambiance of candles, try using battery operated, flame less candles. They can make the space look beautiful without posing the hazard of actual flames.
3. Remember to never connect more than one extension cord together, it creates a chance for an electrical outlet overload which can be very dangerous!
