More event details will be announced soon, but for now, mark your calendar and plan to spend the day exploring Big White.

From Studios to Luxury Chalets
One of the most exciting parts of this event is the variety of properties we’ll be viewing.
We’ll be showcasing an assortment of Big White real estate, from studios and more accessible mountain properties to luxury chalets, giving guests the opportunity to see firsthand just how different the real estate landscape can be.
Our tour will take us through a variety of buildings and areas, including:
- The Inn at Big White
- The Aspens
- Happy Valley
- Village Centre
- Snowpines Estates
- And more!
Every area offers something different. Some properties are ideal for families who want easy access to the mountain. Others may appeal to buyers looking for a strong investment opportunity, while some are all about space, privacy, luxury, and creating an incredible mountain retreat.
That’s what makes exploring Big White in person so valuable.
Get to Know Big White Beyond the Listing
Looking at real estate online can only tell you so much.
Photos can show you a kitchen. A listing can tell you the square footage. A floor plan can show you the layout.
But being on the mountain gives you a completely different perspective.
During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to get familiar with the buildings, neighbourhoods, access points, amenities, views, and overall feel of each area.
You can walk through the properties, ask questions in real time, and start to understand what makes one building different from another.
For anyone considering purchasing at Big White, this kind of firsthand knowledge can be incredibly valuable.
Which Property Is Right for You?
There isn’t one perfect Big White property for everyone.
That’s one of the things I love most about helping people navigate the resort. The right property depends on how you plan to use it, what matters most to you, and what you want your investment to accomplish.
Are you looking for a family getaway that you can enjoy throughout the ski season?
Are you interested in an investment property?
Do you want something with easy ski-in/ski-out access?
Are you looking for a larger luxury chalet where friends and family can gather?
Or perhaps you’re just starting to explore the idea of owning at Big White and don’t know where to begin.
This event is designed to help you start connecting those dots.
You’ll be able to see different properties side by side and begin to understand which buildings and areas may be the best fit for your particular goals.
Real Estate Knowledge You Can Experience
One of the biggest advantages of an event like this is the ability to get real information, in real time, while you’re actually on the mountain.
Instead of simply reading about a building online, you can experience it.
Instead of wondering what a particular neighbourhood feels like, you can explore it.
Instead of trying to compare properties from behind a screen, you can walk through them and ask questions.
And if you’re a realtor who has clients interested in Big White, this is an incredible opportunity to build your knowledge of the resort and gain a better understanding of what each area and property type has to offer.

Plans include doubling the amount of chair lifts, almost tripling the skiing terrain, and expanding mountain biking trails. Additionally the resort plans to add golfing, zip-lining, more equestrian adventures, and cat skiing. Winter camping and health/wellness facilities are proposed. Of course, with more terrain and activities that means additional parking, accommodations and amenities. The current bed units at the resort is approx. 10,533, and if the proposed 2020 Master Plan stays on track, the resort will see 20,600.
The resort made many necessary changes in order to adhere to the new government guidelines. Such as being a no cash resort, adding sanitizing stations throughout, and capacity control. The mandatory face covering rule is being enforced along with maintaining social distancing guidelines. The resort strives to ensure visitors and residents alike are safe and have done a great job in doing so. Check out all of the resort’s new procedures and protocols

Recycling! Residents and visitors the resort can now drop off their refundable beverage containers at the region’s first Return-It Express & GO recycling station. This new service was a direct response to the needs of residents and visitors on the mountain. Located at 4500 Big White Rd., the new facility makes recycling easier by allowing drop off pre-bagged beverage containers without sorting them. Another cool feature of this amenity is the fact it is solar powered and housed in a repurposed shipping container. For further information check out this
